Russian forces liberate DPR’s Petrovka, Ilyinka over past day — top brass

MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. The Russian armed forces have liberated Petrovka and Ilyinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Defense Ministry said.
“The battlegroup South liberated the settlement of Ilyinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The battlegroup Center liberated the settlement of Petrovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the ministry said.
According to it, the Russian servicemen also hit the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields, drone assembly shops and warehouses over the day.
“The Russian forces struck the infrastructure of military airfields, drone assembly shops and warehouses, as well as enemy manpower and equipment in 136 areas,” the ministry said.
In addition, Russian air defenses have downed 55 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the past 24 hours, the military said.
A total of 649 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37,013 drones, 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,577 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,807 field artillery and mortar guns, 28,905 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation, the ministry added.
Russia’s battlegroup East has eliminated more than 100 Ukrainian servicemen over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry said.
“The battlegroup East continued advancing deep into the enemy’s defense and defeated Ukraine’s 32nd mechanized brigade and the 241st territorial defense brigade near Velikaya Novoselka, Razliv and Novy Komar in the Donetsk People’s Republic. “The enemy losses amounted to up to 100 servicemen, a US-made HMMWV truck, five vehicles, a 152 mm Akatsiya howitzer and a 122 mm D-20 howitzer,” the statement said.
The battlegroup West has wipes out up to 500 Ukrainian servicemen over the past 24 hours, the military pointed out.
“The battlegroup West has repelled 11 counterattacks by Ukraine’s 14th mechanized, 3rd tank brigades, as well as by the 113th and 117th territorial defense brigades. The Ukrainian losses amounted to up to 500 servicemen, two pickup trucks, an Anclav-N electronic warfare station and four ammunition depots,” the statement said.
The battlegroup North has wiped up to 85 Ukrainian servicemen and the battlegroup Dnepr has eliminated up to 85 enemy troops over the past 24 hours, the army said.
“In the Kharkov area, the battlegroup North defeated Ukraine’s 92nd airborne assault brigade and repelled two counterattacks by the 57th and 58th mechanized brigades. The enemy lost up to 30 servicemen, an armored personnel carrier, two vehicles and two 122 mm D-30 howitzers,” the ministry said.
It also added that the battlegroup Dnepr eliminated up to 85 Ukrainian servicemen, as well as destroyed three enemy vehicles, an electric warfare station and two ammunition depots.
